TailGunner is a classic shoot 'em up game, where in true arcade fashion, the object of the game is to blast everything that moves. In this game, you are the tail gunner on an intergalactic spacecraft and your mission is straight forward- you must defend your ship and fleet from an onslaught of alien attackers. It is your job to repulse wave after wave of the alien hordes as they attempt to destroy your ship and the fleet. You are equipped with a state of the art blaster which can destroy their crafts with a single burst; but beware; their numbers are endless and you must put up a withering barrage of firepower to slow their relentless pursuit and stave off your own destruction as they blast away at you and your fleet. Also in true arcade fashion, the game ends only with the elimination of your shields and your destruction or when you close the game window. Your blaster is controlled by your mouse, use the left-click button to fire your weapon. "P" will pause/resume the game; "M" mutes the sound. To start the game, select a resolution below. After the game loads, click anywhere in the game applet to begin ("S" does NOTstart the game).
